It was blazing hot this weekend with temperatures up near 100 degrees F in Portland. Michael had just started the grill for some hamburgers when mom mentioned eating dinner at Mo's down at Cannon Beach - I was sold! A last minute decision turned into a fun Friday night at the Oregon Coast! We ate at Mo's then played on the beach for about an hour. I was sad I couldn't join in the paddle ball fun with Michael and Dad but I still had fun sitting with Mom and Toby watching the boys play! :) I am grateful to live so close to the coast and for the beauty that is there! I'm also grateful for the relief from the heat - it was 40 degrees cooler at the coast than it was in the city and I really appreciated the crisp cool air!
