My Favorite Maternity-Baby-Toddler Purchases

I just had to share some of my favorite maternity-baby-toddler items that I recommend for anyone! I have a few priorities when it comes to these products so I did some online comparisons and read a lot of reviews before I purchased the following items and I LOVE them. I've listed them in order of how much I researched and love the item and included some other favorite online purchases at the end. Enjoy!

Why I bought it and recommend it:
  • Opens both directions
  • Automatically swings closed
  • Ability to stay open without propping it open with an object
  • Easy one-handed operation (use thumb to slide switch and pull up to open)
  • Wide opening to walk through: 18 1/2 inches at the top latch part ( about 2" vertical measurement of the latch ) but the rest of the opening ( which is most of it ) is 20 inches.
  • Not very loud compared to other gates! <3

  7. Buckle storage (I don't use this feature like I thought I would but I liked that it had it when I bought the carseat.)

Why I bought it and recommend it:
  1. ODOR!! We had the Dekor Plus Hands-Free Diaper Pail, White (Amazon $44.98) which I LOVED and highly recommend if you want something a little cheaper - the hands free step pedal was amazing and it had the safety lock too - but my son's room started to smell so bad after a while. We did buy our Dekor diaper pail USED from a consignment sale so if you get a diaper bin just buy NEW! I love the Ubbi because the smell does NOT leak through the pail - it is STEEL!!
  2. You can just drop diapers or wipes in without having to push them in! (I do miss the hands free foot pedal that the Dekor had but the sliding lid is really easy and quick too). 
  3. No special bags required so I can use my scented kitchen garbage bags in this diaper pail - yay! (Ubbi does have Ubbi Plastic Bags, Purple you can purchase which I've tried and prefer over kitchen garbage bags because they're a little smaller so I get full use out of the bag compared to my tall kitchen bags and they are a little cheaper but I don't have to rely on making sure I have the special bags like other diaper pails)
  4. Child proof lock is a MUST and I love this one.
  5. Easy to pull out diapers and replace bag.

NOTE: I bought this used at a consignment sale which I do not recommend doing (buy new when it comes to diaper pails) but I want to include it for comparison because I really liked it so you might like it too.
